This Privacy Policy explains how Crealick ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the QR Scanner & Generator mobile application ("App").
We designed the App to work primarily on your device. We do not operate a server that collects or stores the QR codes, barcodes, or scan history you create or scan through the App.
2. Information We Access
Camera
The App requests access to your device camera to scan QR codes and barcodes. Camera access is used only when you choose to use the scanning feature. Camera images/video are processed for scanning and are not uploaded to our servers by the App.
Photos / Gallery
If you choose to scan a QR code or barcode from an image in your gallery, the App requests access to the selected image. The selected image is used for scanning and is not uploaded to our servers by the App.
Locally Stored Scan History
The App can store your scan history locally on your device so that you can view previous results. This information remains on your device unless you remove it or uninstall the App.
3. QR Codes and Barcode Content
QR codes and barcodes may contain information such as website addresses, text, telephone numbers, email addresses, contact details, Wi-Fi information, or other content.
We do not intentionally collect the contents of QR codes or barcodes that you scan. Processing is performed on your device where supported by the App.
4. QR Code Generation
When you generate a QR code, the information you enter is used on your device to create the QR code. We do not intentionally transmit the generated QR data to our servers.
5. Internet Access
The App may use an internet connection for third-party advertising and for opening web links or other external content when you request those actions. Core QR and barcode scanning functionality is designed to work without an internet connection.
6. Advertising
The App may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process certain information, such as advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location, and interaction data, according to Google's applicable policies and your device or advertising settings.

7. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services or operating-system features, including Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), the device camera, the device photo/gallery picker, and external applications for opening links, making calls, sending email, or sharing content.
Those third parties may process information according to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the policies of services you choose to use.
8. How We Use Information
- Scanning QR codes and barcodes.
- Scanning QR codes and barcodes from selected images.
- Generating QR codes.
- Displaying and maintaining local scan history.
- Copying, opening, or sharing scan results when requested by you.

9. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or intentionally share your QR/barcode scan contents or locally stored scan history with third parties.
Third-party services, such as advertising providers, may independently collect information as described in their own policies.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
Scan history stored by the App is stored locally on your device. You can delete stored scan history using the App's "Clear scan history" option. Uninstalling the App may also remove locally stored App data, subject to your device's operating-system behavior and backup settings.
11. Children's Privacy
The App is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review the matter.
12. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information handled by the App. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13. Your Choices
You can control or revoke permissions such as camera and photo access through your device settings. Some App features may not work when the corresponding permission is denied.
You can also clear locally stored scan history from within the App.
